The story…
My interest in surf sails was originally inspired by wing-glider. Emil Kurlev – my uncle, pioneer in design and production of delta planers in Bulgaria, was also my mentor and friend. He was the man who introduced me into the world of professional delta-wings and yacht sails.
In 1984 I actively participated in the foundation of the first and only wind glider factory in Bulgaria. The production was designed for local clubs and export to Germany. This experience set the beginning of my life-long passion for sails.
Windsurfing
In the years spent in the wing-gliding industry, I grew interest for windsurfing and decided to transfer my knowledge and experience into the, still, experimental area for the Bulgarian market.
I decided to keep the family tradition and found my own production for custom made wind surf sails. I always strived for quality and perfection, and for me using the best materials (Dacron, Monofilm and X-ply) was of great importance, even though a great challenge to obtain in Bulgaria at the time.
Kitesurf
Kite-surfing grabbed me from the moment of its appearance in 1999. Combination of flying and the sea was my dream comes true,
I began working with kite sails by repairing them and later I started developing my own kite models and designs. As the pump-up tubes come out on the market, I imported from the USA professional TPUO, SO materials, which are essential for the good quality and durability of the bladders and I was able not only to make my own bladder shapes but also to repair broken ones.

In 2002, using advanced computer program for kite designs I created my first Kite Prototype, which was successfully tested, and flew over the Iskar Dam Bulgaria.
Thus, I continued with further three series C-Kite, while creating brand PS, which was advertised by young and perspective Bulgarian Kite-surfers. In 2005, I developed my first Bow kite and tested it on the island Cokceada in Turkey.

As the Bulgarian grew it gave me the possibility to establish a second studio on Naxos island – Greece in 2006. The studio was exclusively set up to support and serve the kite and wind-surf schools as well as the private sector for yachts sails. After the success on Naxos I am looking now into new hot spots for kite-surfing where I can not only set up a new studio but enjoy kite-surfing myself…
